Meet the Royal Owner!

Established in 2023 — Built with Heart, Grit, and a Touch of Magic

Greetings, we are Joann & Peter. We are parents of six, grandparents of eleven, and founders of the Royal Castle Consignment. Joann works as an CNA and med tech for years but always dreamed of owning something of her own. Peter works in the IT field. Their dream began with a few casual Facebook Lives from our home—just Joann and her belated mother sharing great finds. It quickly grew into nightly sales, a thriving website, and a passionate, loyal community.

In December 2023, Joanns mother passed away. She promised her mother to keep this dream alive, for her and for Joann's grandchildren. That promise carried us through vendor shows, into a market booth, and eventually led us to our brick-and mortar storefront in New Brighton, PA, which opened on September 7, 2024.

The name Royal Castle is part of Joann & Peter's fairytale. Ten years ago, Joann actually found her knight in shining armor. Peter proposed to Joann in a full suit of armor at a Renaissance Festival and even wore parts it in the wedding ceremony. The store is our shared castle, built with love, legacy, and just a little magical positive energy from both Joann & Peter.

We carry new and gently loved clothing for all sizes—from infants to plus sizes, jewelry, handmade gifts, seasonal décor, and one-of-a-kind treasures you won’t find anywhere else.
